Orlando Plus

For the most demanding players, we travel again to Orlando (Florida, USA) running a camp based on an intensive high level golf program. It will take place from the 1st to the 22nd of July at Mission Inn Resort facilities, venue of the prestigious Gary Gilchrist Golf Academy (www.ggga.com). This camp, for boys and girls from 12 to 18 years old, is very attractive for those who want to considerably improve their golf technique, on course play, strategy, physical and psychological training, meaning the integral education to become a great golf player.

ACCOMMODATION
Students are accommodated at the terraced villas integrated in Mission Inn Resort (missioninnresort.com), each with capacity up to 6 students (3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms) where they will have breakfast, lunch and supper. There is a leader living with the students in each house.

GOLF
Students develop an intensive course, 7 hours a day from Monday to Friday, 8.30 a.m. to 4 p.m, named “Train like a Champion”, conducted by Gary Gilchrist (www.ggga.com). It includes:

• Swing Video Analysis, biomechanics evaluation, golf swing training techniques, short game, chipping, bunker shots, putting and advisory on course playing.

• 1 daily hour of fitness training using the technology and full advisory of TPI (Titleist Performance Institute).

• Sports psychology program.

• Playing 9 holes daily at one of the two Mission Inn competition courses: Las Colinas and El Campeón (including a competition each Friday).

• Training book “Golf Like a Champion” and welcome pack for all students.

Gary Gilchrist started his professional golf career at the IMG golf Academy with David Leadbetter, being golf instructor for 15 years. Thanks to his passion for teaching this sport to young players and to his conviction that best results come through the integration of academic and sports education, decided to launch his own academy in January 2008. In less than one year, the GGGA students have achieved top positions in several junior American Championships, both in male and female categories. Throughout his career, Gary Gilchrist has taught golf to a great number of players on their junior stage, and some of them are now acclaimed professional players: Yani Tseng, Michelle Wie, Paula Creamer, Peter Hedblom, Suzan Pettersen, Sean O’Hair among many others.
