About us
TRAVEL CAMPS were founded 20 years ago in Izki, north of Sapin, where 90 children enjoyed our first summer camp. Since then, we have inaugurated many more camps, up to the current configuration attending over 900 juniors.
Thanks the the success achieved, in 1996 we became Official Camps of the Royal Spanish Golf Federation, receiving from them the Golf Merit Award in 2005.
Golf is one of the main activities at TRAVEL CAMPS. As managers of our golf camps, we count on prestigious instructors, among them: Ricardo Boada, Freddy Lilly (Fresh Golf Academy), Toni Planells, Juan Dusmet or Gary Gilchrist and his Golf Academy in Orlando.
During the camps every pupil is video analysed, and we make a large and attractive foto report about all activities carried out.
We are really proud that we introduced golf to more than 9.000 boys and girls over the years. More than 40 pupils have defended the Spanish National Golf Teams or have become professional players: Álvaro Velasco, Carlos del Moral, Rafa Cabrera, Pablo and Alejandro Larrazábal, Eduardo de la Riva, Jorge Campillo, Carlota Ciganda, Azahara Muñoz, Enma Cabrera and Beatriz Recari, among many others.
In TRAVEL CAMPS we would like to emphasize our vocation for other educational aspects, such as partnership, discipline and the relationship with other national and international students. We can say families leave their children with a company that mainly aims taking care of the students and their integral education. We are proud about the satisfaction families and pupils express us every year when finishing the camps.
