Golf

Golf activity is offered at all our camps in Spain and rest of countries.
We work under the most advanced instruction system, the TPI, Titleist Performance Institute (www.mytpi.com), and count on a large and experienced team of instructors.
WHAT IS “TPI”? On the last few years, it has appeared a new sport concept, specially in the world of golf: TPI. Titleist Performance Institute is a real sports lab, and propose the sports learning through a “long term athletic developement”. The basic idea is quite simple: any person who practises an sport, must do it improving the physical condition and avoiding injuries, becoming better in the sport and lenghtening the sport life. This concept was the original idea of Titleist, golf manufacturer, when, trying to improve its sales, realized that lenghtening a golfer’s life would mean nothing could avoid the player to buy more balls. And Titleist started working to create TPI, which nowadays cooperates with a large number of important entities, such as the Royal Spanish Golf Federation and many national golf associations and professionals all around the world, including Travel Camps in its daily physical training.
The training system proposed by TPI is so simple, and it is unvelieavable that nothing similar had been developed before, although it is true that the investment in technology and knowledge applied calls for the maximum technical level from TPI experts. It consists of doing physical tests, with no need of gym nor specific equipment, which will let us know the real status of each part of the body. At the same time, analysing the golf swing it is possible to detect that some technical problems are a consequence of certain physical weaknesses. From that point, it is a matter of working to improve the required parts of the body, making easier the execution of the proper golf swing. TPI is part of professional and amateur golfers’ daily life all around the world, but also works on other sports based on throwing as a technical movement: american football, baseball, etc.
From this year, we count on Pablo Larrazabal, winner of several PGA European Tour events, who will assits us on golf instruction.

At those camps combining golf with another activity, golf instruction takes three or four hours a day, from Monday to Friday or Saturday, depending on which camp, always combining lessons on the practice areas and playing the golf course. EliteSports Valdecañas Camp, EliteSports Cerdaña Camp, Pamplona Camp, El Rompido Camp, Majorca Camp and Sotogrande Camp.
At the intensive golf camps, El Rompido Intensivo Camp, Majorca Plus Camp and Sotogrande Plus Camp, golf takes place both in the morning and afternoon, playing 18 holes daily from Monday to Friday (a total of 7 hours per day).
In Orlando Camp it carried out an intensive golf course together with English language course, and Orlando Plus Camp increases the golf level training golf the whole day.
All our camps develop official tournaments allowing the juniors to improve their golf handicap.
We recommend all students to bring their own golf clubs, although we offer the option of hiring those (only at camps in Spain and under 12 years old players).
Once finished the course, we send each student a personalized report and video filming with the swing corrections, so the student will remember both errors and solutions to those.
