Below you will find the frequent questions that families ask about the camps. Once registered, each family will receive an Email with detailed information about the camp. The document REGISTRATION CONDITIONS may clarify a lot of doubts.

1. How do I register in a camp?
You can do it in two ways: filling up the registration form in our promotional brochure, or thourgh our website, which is a fast and simple method. Nevertheless, lets check over how to make the process (we recommend reading carefully the REGISTRATION CONDITIONS):
Registration through the WEB:
(1) Open our web site www.traveldeporte.com/en on your browser.
(2) Click on Registration.
(3) There will appear on the screen the list ofTravel Camps. Select the appropriate one.
(4) Then the Main Options available for the selected camp will be shown. Choose the one you like.
(5) Now select the Activity that will complete the camp (except on those camps with only one option).
(6) Automatically there will appear the information to be filled up or selected to settle down the registration. Please carry on filling up the boxes.
(7) At the bottom, you will have the payment options. Select one. Read carefully the REGISTRATION CONDITIONS, where payment methods are explained in detail. Please remember that for a registration to be totally formalized, it is required a minimum deposit of €600 (camps in Spain) or €1.200 (camps in any other country). If you choose the option Bank transfer to any of the following two accounts, you must order a transfer of the mentioned minimum amount (registration will only be accepted once received such amount. Please send us copy of the bank tranfer statement indicating the name of the student). If you choose the option Credit Card then you must fill up the box “Amount” with a minimum of such amount. If you choose Monthly billing, fill up the boxes “Bank Account Holder” and “Bank Account Code” (where we will charge the corresponding amount every month).
(8) Below, read and accept the matching the corresponding box.
(9) Just below, click on the green button Proceed to registration (in case you forgot to fill up any required information, the system will ask you to complete the form).
(10) Automatically will appear a summary of your choices. In case you had previously selected Credit Card to pay, you will now have available the option “Pay now” in an orange coloured button. Click on that button (you will receive a confirmation message on the same Email address you filled up the form).
(11) Then it will appear a screen (from our bank) where you will be able to make the payment through an absolutely reliable and safe method. We do recommend to make this window as much bigger as possible on your screen to see the bottom part of it, where may appear some options.. You only have to introduce your credit card information, expiry month and year, security code, and click on the gray button, just below, which says “Aceptar” (“Accept”). Please continue with the payment process.
NOTE TO CREDIT CARD PAYMETS: depending on the bank that issued your credit card, you could be required a verification code belonging to your bank methods.
Registration through the Registration Form on our promotional brochure:
(1) Fill up the Registration Form on the brochure. It must be properly signed.
(2) Send the Registration Form to: TRAVEL SPONSORING S.L., Calle Muntaner, 412, 2º1ª – 08006 BARCELONA (Spain), or by fax to number +34 93 2010058, or by Email to info@traveldeporte.com.
(3) Remember that it must be done the minimum payment of €600 (camps in Spain) or €1.200 (camps in other countries) in order to complete the registration process. You can do it by any of the payment methods described in the REGISTRATION CONDITIONS. In fact, you have always access to Credit Card payment through the website: slide the mouse over Registration and it appears an option called”Second Payments“. Select it and it is opened a window to fill up the information and click on the green button”Pay“. This brings you to a summary screen and allows you to choose the option “Pay now“. See (10) above, because from this point the process is identical.

2. Should the children bring some pocket money to thecamp?
Travel Camps includes all expenses children need during the camp. Nevertheless, we recommend bringing some money, just in case the student would occasionally like to buy something. Our organization will keep the money and the amount and recurrence is always stablished by the family. Our organization will schedule about 2 days a week to lend the student the amount. We can also keep special documents such as plane tickets, personal data, private medical insurance or Social Security cards, sport licenses, etc.

3. What kind of clothing and materials should children bring to the camp?
We include landry service (washing and folding) in the camp price. We suggest non ironing clothes. It is required to mark all clothing so that our staff is able to control any loss. Clothing to cover such different moments and activities of the day is required, T-shirts and polos, a long trouser and some short ones, swimming costume, enough underwear, pool and bath towels, sport clothing and shoes (golf shoes are recommended, not compulsory). Others are sun cream and instects protection, caps or peaks, backpack and depending on the activities chosen, golf glove, tennis racket, paddle tennis racket, equestrian helmet and boots.
It is not allowed to play golf on jeans nor swimming costume. On those camps not in Spain, neither with T-shirt.
For the English language course it is required to bring pen, pencil, rubber and dictionary. Students doing golf activity must bring their own clubs or hire those. There will be a golf bag storage room under lock and key. Each student is responsible of his own materials (or hired) when getting out of such room.

4. A kid registered in the golf activity of a camp, must have golf federation license in Spain?
Yes, the federation license is required. Travel Camps only organises golf activity of summer camps at top level federated facilities. So any golfer using such facilities must have federation license issued by the Spanish Golf Federation. In case the student is not federated, we suggest contacting your golf club or regional federation to arrange it. You can also ask information at the Royal Spanish Golf Federation, and/or download the ROYAL SPANISH GOLF FEDERATION LICENSE FORM from its website (www.rfegolf.es).

5. What kind of food is offered an the camps?
All meals are specially designed for children thinking on the several activities they will carry out. Balanced diets with all required nutrients for youngsters. Daily meals are as follows: breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack and supper. In case your children need any special diet, please describe it in detail on the registration form or by Email to info@traveldeporte.com.

6. Is it allowed to use the phone during the summer camps?
The use of mobile phones is not forbidden, although its use is restricted to certain hours, thinking on the good development of the camp. The arrival day you will be reported the mobile phone number of the camp leader assigned to your children, so you will be able to contact them at any time. Additionally, you will have the camp manager name and mobile phone number.

7. Medical Assistance at the camps.
The student must bring original or copy of Social Security card to the camp to have access to those medical services agreed with our organization. In case of having a private medical insurance, we do strongly recommend to bring its membership card.
It is very important for us to know any medical remark relating your children, so please let us know it. We are very used to deal with students following any medical treatment or similar, but obviously we need to know it to keep an strict control.

8. How does initial / final transportation to / from the camp work??
Some families bring their children themselves. Travel Camps offers escort leaders on trips from/to Madrid and Barcelona, on some summer camps. On groups from other destinations, we can also customize the service. Please ask us.
Students organising the trip on their own, may let us know the details and then we would arrange transfers to/from airports, railway stations, etc.
Students registered will receive an Email detailing flights details for the corresponding camp.

9. Documents required during the camps.
The more documents the student brings to the camp the better. However, here you will find a list of compulsory documents:
- * Valid DNI (ID) and/or Passaport (in the Orlando camp, it is required to complete the ESTA from the USA Governmet, receiving acceptance and bringing it on printed)
- * Social Security Card (original recommended).
- * When existing, private medical insurance card.
